Former Ekiti State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi has lamented the
inability of the present administration to effect the release of over
200 school girls abducted by the Boko Haram insurgents in Chibok, Borno
State exactly one year ago.
Fayemi who described the callous
act of the insurgents as highly ignoble, said the experience of the
students as well as their parents and family members is saddening and
traumatising. He added that the situation was made worse by the failure
of the present administration to properly coordinate and effect the
release of the missing girls a year after.
